Planning our family photography sessions around candid moments means we will leave with stories to tell – we leave a door open for spontaneity and fun and changes in plans. And that’s amazing! That’s life.
Koa was about thirty minutes into his bike ride and his tire went flat. This could have been a frustrating end to an activity but his dad took a different approach – he went on a mission to fix his kid’s bike, and in the process, we got some really cool images. And in the end, we got the bike fixed.
Anything can happen in these sessions regardless of how much we plan ahead, and to me, that’s the best part of it all.
