So excited to share images from the first Los Angeles family I have photographed since moving to California. Marsha and her family planned a fun day full of bike riding, dog walks, a trip for ice cream at McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream in Studio City, and a hike at TreePeople in Fryman Canyon Park. It was a great mix of at home entertainment and outdoor activities.

Most of the focus of any Day in the Life or Slice of Life session is on capturing candid images of family members and the relationship everyone has with each other, but I will on occasion ask us to pause for some formal, more traditional family photos when the light and time is right. On this day, we maybe spent twenty minutes of our four hours together focused on formal images, and even that block of time was broken up in segments because we took them in a few different locations throughout our day.
I’m so happy with how these photos came out, and am excited to send the full gallery to this family 🙂
